After putting in the new engine, the clutch has pressure, but the pedal sits on the floor, i have to pull it with my hand to get it up...whats up? do i have to bleed it? is the slave cylinder bad all of the sudden? HELP!

You shouldn't have to bleed the system if you didn't take the hose off the cylinder, but any fluid loss will cause this problem. Your seal at the end of the slave may be gone/leaking, as might be the hose. - especially if you let it sit for a few months while you swapped enginesCheck the fluid levels, then look at the cylinder. If it isn't leaking, then bleed the system.
good luck,

Nick

does the clutch engage at all? have you tried backing it down your driveway or something? just make sure you don't try to start the car in gear, even though the clutch pedal is pressed. if your pressure plate or slave cylinder are bad, you could send your car into your garage door or something trying to start it.
after you push the pedal down and pull it back up, try pushing the pedal down again, is there the normal clutch pedal resistance?
