clutch? gone?

I got in the 7 this morning and i thought the clutch felt funny but I didn't wana dick with it. I got to work fine I was in 5th the whole time on the highway though.

I get back in my car after work and im driving home get back on the highway but when i get back into town I notice the clutch is acting REALLY funny

thats when I push in the clutch and it wont come out of gear so i try and let off the clutch... it wont come up the pedals stuck. so i let off the gas and push the shifter into neutral so it wont die. I come to a stop and then the clutch works fine getting it into gear. Once its in gear however the clutch wont come back up and it wont push down so that you can get it back into neutral

might I add today my warehouse shut down for the season I put in alot of applications over the last 2 weeks so I need to be up and running asap. So if its seriously broken how much am I looking at to fix because I don't know anything about transmissions

If the pedal won't come off the floor, and you can't shift the trans out of gear, it sounds like the problem is with the clutch hydraulic system. Check the clutch master cylinder reservoir and see if it's full. That's step 1. If it's full, it may have an internal leak, either in the master or slave. Basically, if there's a hydraulic failure, the clutch pedal will not allow the clutch to disengage, which sounds like the problem you're having. Best approach is to change the master, slave, and flex hose. Costs under $100 for all three.

sounds about right to me, too. Check out your hydraulics and make it's all properly bled.

and if that doesnt work it sounds like the pilot bearing may be grabbing onto the inputshaft not allowing it to fully disengage, not sure on this though
