If you haven't done this before, get some help from someone who has!
Always replace all of the parts, Pressure plate, disc, release bearing, and inspect and replace pilot bearing if necessary.
I also strongly recommend getting the flywheel resurfaced as most companies won't warrantly the clutch if you don't. It alos ensures a better/longer lasting result!

My method of Flywheel nut removal.....
one i get the clutch off, I remove the toothed flywheel holding tool (mazdatrix) and attach a 3 foot piece of 2" wide 1/8" thick steel to the flywheel with two of the clutch bolts, then I place a piece of wood against the passenger side frame rail and rotate the motor until the bar is pressing against the wood. Then, I have my buddy put the 3/4 inch MAC tools breaker bar and the 2 1/8 inch socket on the nut and give it a bit of pull to keep the wood against the frame rail while I re-attach the flywheel holder tool. (this keeps the wood wedged against the frame while were mucking about so we don't have to hold it there) Then, since I weigh more and am a bit stronger, I get my buddy to crawl under the car and hold the socket on the nut. Then I put a 4 foot piece of 1 1/2 inch pipe over the breaker bar and pass that down through the engine bay and he puts it on the socket... then its GO TIME......
King Kong aint got nuthin on my ***!!!
TO get the holes drilled in the steel bar correctly, here is what ya do.. take your pressure plate off and lay it on the steel bar so that two of the mounting bolt holes that are right next to each other are on the centerline of the bar about six inches in from one end. Hit 'em with spray paint. Now drill out the holes!! Theres your 24 dollar Mazdatrix flywheel holding bar!!!!!
