Clutch goes to floor & air bleeds 4 ever!!

I just did ANOTER engine, I have installed it, and the clutch goes to the floor and stays there.

I tried to bleed it, but it bleeds air forever.

I cant get it to work.

I have a rebuild kit arriving for it tomorrow.

However...

What else could cause this?

Is the fact that air bleeds from it constantly the conclusive evidence that its blown a seal and the rebuild will fix it?

I had the same problem and i replaced both the slave cylinder and master cylinder and it solved the problem so if you rebuild them that should work i just didn't want to mess with rebuilding them so i got new ones.

check the hydraulic line that goes to the trannie. Mines had a small hole in it that let air in.

sometimes the clutch master takes awhile to bleed into the slave. A little trick to bleeding it is to lightly pressurize the master cap with an air hose. (youll see a small oil on black cap). Just jam the rubber nozzle of an air compresser hose onto it and gently push some air into it. Keyword here is gently. Good luck.
