Clutch and Flywheel Setup

Well found a TII engine to swap into my vert but when i do it i want to do it right with a light weight flywheel and a good supporting clutch. I was looking at the ACT flywheels with a HD PP and modified street disk but then came across spec clutches.

I would like to know what would be a good clutch for the car under $400. I do plan to drag race it but also want to keep it semi DD. I do also plan to eventually get up to around 300rwhp or more.

I just did some reading and the clutchforce dual friction seems to be a good choice. Plus it is a tad cheaper. Any one have any opinions?

my car used to have a centerforce PP and what looked like and stock NA disc (it didn't go to the edge of the stock turbo flywheel) on my car and it couldn't handle the 270 whp I put down recently.

I replaced it with an ACT prolite flywheel (the 9.8 lbs one) and an extreme PP with a performance street disc and I like it a lot. the pedal is decently stiff, but in my opinion fine for daily driving, and I'm not the biggest guy in the world.

the clutch ended up being like $450 + a bit more for the flywheel. (and you also have to get an automatic counter wieght)

Be weary of aluminum flywheels, I've heard some bad stories about the aluminum and steel separating due to the differences in expansion rates when they get hot.

the ACT flywheels are both made out of chromoly
