Clutch or flywheel problem ?
Clutch or flywheel problem ?
Here is the deal.
Like 4 weeks or so I started having some problems with the clutch when driving hard engine, will just rev up high but it wont go faster.
This only happens after driving for more the 20 min or until engine gets hot
The clutch is a spect stage 2 it only has 6 month and the flywheel was resurfaced.
Do I need a new clutch or it can be only some hot spots in the flywheel and just need to be resurfaced and If I need a new cutch can I just buy the disck or I need the whole kit ?
and also since then I feel my car slower can this be related?
Thanks for your help is really appreciated

Engine revs like it is in neutral, even in gear? How hard have you been driving it? You can easily destroy a new clutch in 6 months with abuse or really bad technique. Maybe worn out pressure plate, was that replaced 6 months ago with the disk?
If it turns out you need all new, don't waste your money resurfacing the stock flywheel, pop for a new light one instead.
