clutch disc

somebody please tell me its possible to recover a clutch disc if it gets trans. oil on it.

... I would think it would burn off ..... its not like its going to lubricate it if thats what you mean...... If its a normal non puck clutch I could maybe see it swell up if you had it soaking in it for a while. Although I am stupid and dont know what im talking about 99% of the time.

lol thanx for the somewhat useless comment. but from what i know, any kind of oil on the clutch disc cant be too good...otherwise it wouldn't be a dry clutch system...im just wondering if its at least recoverable..like spraying brake cleaner on it to draw out most of the oil or something..cuz my clutch is litterally brand new and i guess the tranny front cover seal was bad and spat oil all over it while test driving

Yeah, brake clean is good, it cleans and drys. That is pobably all u can do without buying new ones
