Clutch!!!!!!!!!

hey you guys, I bought an 87 rx7 n/a a few months ago and it was in pretty good condition. However, it had a slipping clutch and the release bearing was making some noises. So now I have a brand new clutch kit but I never changed a clutch before so I'm a little nervous (however I did perform a transmission swap in my sisters civic.) but if anyone has any manuals or anything or know where I can get one please help. Also, does anyone know where I could get a lighter flywheel for a good price?

Get a Haynes or Chilton manual. Replace the pilot bearing and seal when you do the job. Not very difficult, but get some help with the trans...It's heavy. You'll need to drop the exhaust, and have a jack handy to support the engine when you drop the trans crossmember.
Also plenty of info in various threads on this forum.

There are some horror stories on pilot bearing removal.
After the clutch is off, check the input shaft tip & the pilot bearing grease. If it looks good, I'd just regrease it & replace the seal.

I have a mirror of the manuals linked in my sig below.
