Clock fades

Clock fades

hey guys and gals

when i start my 91 N/A FC
the clock fades out. i can see it but barely. its nice and bright before i start it up. but then it dims really dark.. whats up with it?

Check for blown fuses too. Mine went dark when a fuse was blown on an another circuit. I my case, I think it was the A/C, or maybe the stereo, but I don't remember precisely, was a couple years ago.

+1 Cold solder joints. Need to open the warning light and clock assembly and be very handy with a soldering iron.
