Sometimes happens, sometimes doesnt. My mechanic said that if the suspension is the kind that rotates with the strut/spring assembly, chances are likely that it's the strut mount. It sounds like its coming from the left and right side alternatively when i turn the steering wheel... so... while turning the steering wheel... this is what you hear:
Left .... Right
click
............click
click
...........click
click
...........click

etc etc. I don't think it's the rack, and i've inspected the knuckle that joins the steering column and the extension that goes to the rack. And you can only hear it from the cabin, not from outside the car.

Weird eh?
