clean a bac valve?

clean a bac valve?
is there anyway to clean out a bac?do they even get gunk inside them?? if so, how? thanks

Carb cleaner. Spray it in the BAC while cycling it with a 12V battery (use a low value resistor like 10 Ohm 10W in series to prevent burning out the BAC).
