Circular tail lights on FC backs? well maybe not like the corvettes.. i donno but i thought i saw someone in this site had something done to their tail lights.... anyone know of this or was this one of my crazy car dreams i been having lately?.. =\

 

not to be a smartass, but the 89 plus fc's had round tailights

personally my fav taillights on an FC are the 10th AE painted type

 

I think you are talking about the stock 89-91 ones

it was the picture that psychodad sent to me when i enquired about buying a set of his lights.

i want GTR or Corvette style lights on my FC, i think that would rock....tho it looks like i'm gonna hafta settle on round 89-90 lights like everyone else :-(

why not do something cool, like remove the original tail lights, and weld in a filler panel to smooth out the back. then graft in Supra tail lights. those are really cool, and have the round lenses inside the housing. ive seen it done on a convertible, and it looked pretty nice. couldnt tell the difference, except, i know what the original stuff is supposed to look like.

 

here is another idea: sell your rx-7 and buy a supra or corvette then you'll have the tail lights you want.

That is the riciest (is that a word??) thing I have ever seen. I feel an obligation as a RX-7 owner to try to talk you out of that. Your tuning us into honda's.
I just sold my 89 and bought an 87TII I like the 89 tail lights better but I'm not about to start f'ing up the back end of my car to make it look like a corvette or supra. Why not get some 89+ tail lights that would look tight!!

 

alright Kokomo, since you seem to have all the answers, tell me. where the hell can i get my hands on a set of 89+ tail lights for under $250?

anyone whose selling their 89+ tail lights think they are selling gold, and what a butt load of cash for them. i can think of MANY ways that i can use that $250 (or more) to make my car faster.
