Circuit opening relay

What all does the circuit opening relay control. If it is bad will the starter still crank. Im still getting no spark or injector pulse so i am going through all the relays. Any help would be great. thanks

That relay controls power to the fuel pump. It has 2 coils, one is energized with the key at start, the other is energized with the AFM door switch. Either coil energized will drop the contacts and send power to the pump...Has nothing to do with the starter, other than stated above...

If TPS is bad you'll throw a code, and run crappy, but does not "directly" control ignition & fuel delivery, but IS used in tandem with other sensors to accomplish this...

after checking around on some stuff i think i may have found the problem. I decided to check the voltage going to the EGI main fuse. I get 12 volts on the side coming from the battery but on the side that connects to the 2 wires that go to the EGI system im showing around 5 and 6 volts. Thats with the fuse out. So i believe there is a wire crossed somewhere because that wire shouldnt show any voltage without the fuse being in to complete the circuit. RIGHT???

It could be just some back feeding.

Go to the ENGINE fuse in the car. Pull it out. Ohm it out. If bad ......replace it.

Engine fuse good? Egi EGI Injection fuse good?

Go to your LEAD coil assy. Pull apart the small, white, two wire plug. Turn the key to ON. Is there 12v at the black/yellow wire on that connector?????? If not, pull the Main Relay. Is there 12v on the Black/Green wire??? 12v on the White/Blue wire????? Yes or no.
