Circuit boards by speakers?
haha. what if i put in a new deck and i left those amplifiers in? also, my rear speakers are twice the size of the stock ones. would the wiring still be able to handle it? i just wanna make sure.
If you put in a new deck it won't power up the amp and you won't get any sound.
If you talk to any audio guy he will tell you just to run new wires anyway, but i can't specifically tell you if the stock wires could handle bigger speakers.

i removed the entire panel and found a new way to mount the speaker to the grill. I hate having stuff in a car that's not usable. I even traced and removed all wiring associated with it when i did my interior swap. Removed AAS wires too.

I just tried to put in a new deck and was puzzled that no sound was coming out of the speakers, but when I hooked the deck up to a power source and to some other car speakers that I had laying around, it worked fine. So I think I'm gonna remove those circuit boards and put in all new wiring, probably solving my problem.

Not really, just old and brittle. Just for maximum output and reliability. Lower your chances of an electric fire and draining power from other components.
Hmm...how would you guys go about removing the circuit board from the front passenger side? Two sides of the board are connected through a much smaller hole. The only way I could possibly get it removed is to break the circuit board it seems.. What have you guys done?
