hey just got a fc with a t2 swap and the car will choke under boost. what can possibly be wrong? vacuum lines? any help would be great. THanks
Could be he didn't use a turbo afm/boost sensor/ECU. Or he used a turbo ECU but non turbo boost sensor/afm.
Or he used a Turbo EM harness on the engine and connected it to a non turbo Front harness without taking care of the differences in wiring differences b/t turbo and non turbo.
Sounds like fuel cut when boosting too much. If you have an aftermarket gauge and you have this fuel cut at one or two psi, then check out the input voltage to the pin 2B on the ECU with the key to just ON. It should be less than three volts. If it's 9-12 volts, then a wiring error was made in the swap.
Or it could be a bunch of other things. Gotta start somewhere.
