"chirpy" sound while under load

either my turbo or engine is making a very troubling sound...when boost peaks at .5 bar the needle starts to wave back and forth a bit and i hear a "chirp" sound around twice every second.

it kind of sounds like seal chatter but my omp is hooked up in addition to premixing.

i look at the turbo to see if it was the compressor wheel hitting the housing but it looks just fine...

could it be detonation? seal chatter? turbo problem?

Light detonation sounds just like chirping, 1st step check your timing and stop boosting

Yeah, definitely NOT good. Detonation will destroy a rotary. A, check your timing as listed above, and B, make sure your running 93 octane. I cant stress enough how bad this is for your engine. Be easy w/ the car until you fix the problem.
