Exclamation Chirping/Knocking problem persists!, please help!...

This will be long....

basically since i bought the car if i ever revved in neutral at around 4500rpm-5000rpm something in the car will make a very loud chirping noise, if i drove in 1st it would do it but no other gear....

after driving for a while i noticed when i pin it in gear 3-5 at around 5500rpm there will be a sharp and loud knocking noise, like a very very loud "tick" i guess you could say....

i've taken the car to the dyno twice, it didnt do it the first time, and the second time it did it almost every single time, it did the knocking noise and i monitored the AF ratio and it was at a steady 11.5:1 throughout the powerband and made absolutely no movement what so ever, i do not notice a power loss when it occurs, aswell there is no bump or slip on the dynochart when the knocking occurs, it seams to be a noise that comes from nowhere but when i was on the dyno i was told that it was comming from the turbo side of the engine bay....

it's dualy noted that one time when the chirping noise occured i let off the gas, the revvs died and a little puff of white smoke came out my exhaust, the chirping happens once in a while aswell ( see below for a video clip )....

i have spent thousands trying to figure out this problem, most of you will know because i have posted numerous times about the problem and it has yet to be rectified....

i have changed almost everything concerning the car, injectors, plugs, wires, turbo, clutch, filters, oils, nearly everything and the problem persists....

i put a fresh turbo in there and driving on the way home it knocked and my heart once again broke it two, it was at about 10psi when it made the noise and once again at the dredded 5000-5500rpm range, and once again when i free-revv the car in neutral it made the horrid chirping sound....

it only seams to make the knocking noise only in gears 3-5 and i have no idea why....

i'm nearly begging for you guys now to help me figure out this problem, it's been on going for over a year now and i just want to enjoy my investment that i've so long been wanting to do....

Thanx in advance....

-Anthony

It might possibly be that the rotors are chattering. Its where the seals skitter across the housing instead of riding smoothly. I've never heard one do it but I'll be thats what it would sound like. I don't even know what causes it. One of the mods would know or maybe ask on the teamfc3s.org forum.

chirping in V engines is always the bearings. the knock may be the rotor making contact (because of shot bearings)

* sigh *

i'm 90% sure because i have an S4 block and all S5 externals that the main pully on the esentrics shaft is a little larger and what not, but weither the case it's the belt shaking as i revv the car in neutral and 1st gear....

i got it to do it last nite when i down-shifted really quick from 4th too 3rd in a corner....
