check valve going to the stock tid

i just made the tid mod but i was not sure if i need or where to put that silver check valve. is it needed if so any ideas how to install it

The check valve is part of the "PCV" system; the PCV system is actually the purge valve located under the oil filler neck (on a Turbo II).

You don't *need* the check valve, as the hose is plumbed into an always vacuum source (at least when the engine is running).&nbsp If you leave that line disconnected, it's going to spew out all kinds of nasty stuff, so make sure it's not going to drip inside your engine bay - don't ask me how I know this...

Hmm I have had mine "disconnected" for some time and have not noticed any spew at all.

anybody else with the tid mod? what did you do with the silver check valve.

It's a check valve there is no need to plumb it back in to the TID.

I did the TID mod on my Cosmo which had exactly the same PCV system as the FC. I just left it hanging and had nothing noticable come out of it in 4 years. The check valve stops anything being sucked in, so I left it on just in case.
