my guess is they used a subaru drivetrain so the engine had to be far forward to have the wheels in the same place

Sounds like the only way they could have done that is to 'add more' weight to the car in different areas to balance it out. Far from cool

lol true

teh radiator is mounted to teh rear and I know water weighs a lot. Theres no telling how much teh 4wd drivetrane weighs or how much fuel it has. Maybe it dont even matter coz all teh extra horsepower. I bet a bad weighted 20b fc would smoke a 50-50 stock fc any day.

Does ne1 whos added a big fmic, heavy e-fan, or big radiator notice teh change in weight distribution?

Water weights about 7lbs a gallon. No, none of us notice a change in weight distribution by running a bigger radiator.

That car's weight distribution is between 60/40 and 65/35. The gearbox's primary mass is situated directly above the front axle line. The ENTIRE engine's weight is in the nose. That car handles like a F-15...shitty anytime it's on the ground but tops out at about mach 1.5....

i would't jump to conclusions boyz!!!!!!

your "rx7" didn't get a racing pedigree by being the worst thing out there if ya know what i mean..

how many of you knew that Steve Millen's little brother Reiss Millen (prob not spelled right) pronounced "rize" won the pike's peak uphill race outright sometime during the 90's with an awd 20b fc....that's quite an accomplishment for any car--ANY CAR--, much less a car that not even supposed to be awd...

"Rhys" Millen's FC was not set up in anykind of fashion even remotely resembling this thing.

that seems a little odd to me..... what did they use from the evo.....the transaxle wouldnt work? motor configuration is completely different on an evo than an fc....

Hmm my thnking on wiegh distribution. This can be corrected by adjusting the coilovers. If you raise the fron then it sends more wieght to the back and vice versa. This is what I have always been told. Noe for the engine sitting so far foward it does mess with its center of gravity. The FC is a midship engine lsyout if I am correct. But now with more of the motor hanging over the front of the front axel. This would make it really hard to adjust the wieght to the back because of all the wieght in front of the struts. But hey it is just what I think is right I am pretty sure other people feel differently.

Now for the Trans Mission, It could be from a Starion AWD that would make the ralli art sticke correct. Although this transmission is extremly heavy. You guys with eclispse and evo therory arnt think back far enough. Stupid 90s modle car thinkers. The Starion was the first car to carry the Ralli Art badge back in 83 I think not for sure though. The starion AWD rally transmission has a shorter style than the subaru. But is is heavyier.

Hmm notice the GTR emblems. This also makes me think that they could have useed a R32 transmission alothough I thought it would be to long for the car.
