The hood is reminiscent of the Border hood. 87GTR has one like it. Beautiful car and the front end looks neat. I still don't think it fits the FC profile very well.

That is teh GTC bumper Rotary Extreme made for the FC. It requires a widebody like the car pictured in order to fit right. Rotary extreme only made a handful of these bumpers and discontinued it. I know of 1 person that was able to convince chuck to make one more and that was a few months ago just before chuck closed up shop.

The 2 pictures in the first post are not the same bumper. The bumper shown by itself is the FD bumper. You can tell by the fact that it has some curved area cut out of it where the stock FD headlights dip into the bumper area. The FC version does not cut into the bumper with the headlights.

i almost got that bumper also, i was going to get a hood from them but it wasnt fittting right and i mentioned the gtc bumper and they said they still had the mold and if i wanted one they could make it for me. but this was like 1 1/2 years ago. it takes a lot of work to make it fit.

Ok, so would this bumper from e-bay that is semi-flexible, fit width wise. Basically, is the front bumper on an fc the same or close to that of an fd? heres the ebay link

and I do know that there would need to be some trimming involved to eliminate the fd headlight cutouts as well.

It Is A Full Custom Job. If You Have To Ask You Can"t Accomplish It.

yea right rrtek, juiceh said that it was a made-to-fit bumper from rotary extreme a while back so chill. Also being that it may be a custum job, making an aftermarket front bumper work is'nt that hard of a job. Just body work ahead. But thanks anyway

Then why are you asking? Buy it and make it work, then post up some pics. You can make anything work, there is a sweet picture of an FC with 300zx headlights built in.. But.... If you think you can do it then go ahead. I remember when like 3 of these were sold, BUT they aren't sold anymore, so it is a full custom job now. Unless you could get the mold. Gook Luck.

+1 to what rrtec said. krazykoncepts is a member on here from ontario and he had a 300zx bumper on his fc see the pic. so if you can do body work like no ones business then go nuts. It is a custom job seeing how there was a new mould made for the bumper. take lots of pics and show us how its done, seriously I am interested.

FD front ends are completely different so any front bumper from an FD would require a ton of work to make fit an FC as you can see by simply going out and looking at your car you can see the whole front bumper mounts completely straight across the front end of the car, now look at a FD front bumper and look at the mounting points and tell me it won't require an expert body crafter to make it fit even if the width was exactly the same which i can almost positively tell you it is not.

you would be better off having someone make you a new mold and making a new front end from scratch than making something that is completely off work.

yea when you have a team of body specialists and a shop full of the right equipment with a nearly non limited budget i'm sure it is no problem, heh.

Im gonna have to watch the vid again, but IIRC, Tony DeAngelo, a memeber of DA, Has a black FC that is his personal car. Is it that one, (drifting with a white FC on the streets) or one in a competition/Demo?

Awww......Jesus...... how do you people think that looks good. The lines dont ******* flow. A round front bumper, then you get to the fenders and the lines are already off... I think its ******* retarded and looks like total ****, but to each his own I guess.

If you want and FD get an FD, if you want an FC get an FC. Dont mix 2 completely different cars for christ sakes. Doing that you not only ruin 1 car, but 2 cars in the process

I dunno. Look at this picture again:

The FC body lines don't mesh well with the FD front end in my opinion. It looks as if you took the front end from an FD and put it on an FC. I realize that is the case and it doesn't look natural. That's what I don't like.

Ok, I see what you guys are talking about when you say fd on the front of an fc........cause it is. BUT, with a little shaping on the top corners where the bumper meets the fender, to blend in the body a bit, some side skirts, and a rear bumper(maby also a diffuser) I think it whould totally freshen up the whole car. the only small delema is the top corners where the bumper meets the fenders. I will make this beautiful!
