The check engine light lights up a few secs after car(S5 FC3S) starts... then dies... I then try again... & the car won't turn over... car started up just fine after sittin for about a year...absolutely no smoke at all... & started up on 1st try too... I did though have trouble gettin it to start the day after I got it runnin... I assumed the battery was bad... so I replaced it w/ a new one... but no luck... I was finally able to get it runnin by push startin it... but the check engine light lit up after about 10 mins or so... as well as the 1st day that I got it runnin resultin in the same situation w/ the check engine light lightin up after about 10 mins... any idea what may be causin this?... could it be that its just flooded???...

 

Decided to make a vid... so that yous could have a clearer picture of what exactly was occurin... & the bloody thing just decided to turn on once I start recordin w/ a small hesistation at the start... I heard a small clunk once I started moving & then another clunk a min after... could this be a result of a unbalanced driveshaft???... how do I go about fixin it???...

 

hey videos are cool.... I would suggest checking the codes although it is an older car you can still check faults, i could explain it but you can search and have better look with pictures it would be hard to give the procedure without pictures
