what is the deal with my check engine light coming on and looseing all power to the engine can barely push pedal it is a 1989 gtu rx7 and I want to put the engine in a 1988 but I want to figure out the problem before and where can I get the kit to go to 15000 rpm seen it a while ago but cant find it again thanks for the help DaBro

 

Sounds like your car is going into limp mode. Check what code the check engine light gives you and work from there. My guess is OMP.
