Comming home from a friends today my check engine light quickly goes on and off during deceleration around ~2000RPM. I would like to check the codes but how can i when it only comes on for a second or two and then goes away?
Does anyone have any possable causes? It kind of studders like im letting the clutch out to fast or hitting fuel cut spots, if that makes any sense. I just changed all the belts today, thats all i've done.

Low oil pressure/level ?

 

It saves the codes. Go ahead and check them.

 

Yea the codes should be stored until you clear them by pulling the neg battery terminal.

I guess boost sensor, mine does it all the time. Do you have intake & exhaust mods on the car?

 

check the o2 sensor.
