my cars check engine light comes on in the morning when it kind of cold out. usually under about half throtle or more... but once the car warms up the cars check engine light usually doesnt come on anymore. any ideas or is this normal for cold driving??

 

does it flash? If so count the # and find out what code it is.

it doesnt flash.. it only comes on when it is cold and i give it more than half throttle.

 

Mine does that too, goes away too quick to ever find out the error code

You start to drive away, your like huh check engine, you stop (Maybe stop light/sign), boom it's gone.

Then your like *scratches head*

 

ya its pretty weird.. im sure its something tempature related cause as soon as the car warms up it doesnt do it at all. i wonder if it is a vacum leak...

 

so does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?????????
