ok now that everyone has told me to go with a 88 13bt engine for my 88 gtu, i just need to know which is the cheapest place to get one. all of the places ive checked so far charge around $2000! that is crazy for a rebuilt 14 year old motor. i know there is a cheaper way, can anyone help?

 

just go jspe, www.nippon-motors.com, 750 for a lo mileage jspec 13bt.

 

a jspec would be nice but i dont think it will pass smog, mine is a daily driver, i need it to pass smog, plus your link didnt work. ill try again. thanks for the advise though.
