chassis problems

my friend has a TII that i might buy off of him, but i saw some rust underneath the car. How much would it be to fix the chassis? How much would a new setup be?

I would avoid buying any car with large amounts of rust.

On uni-body cars the rust really can not be repaired sufficently without replacing major amounts or sheet metal.
