Charging problems???

Ok so im having some problems with my charging system. The alternator and battery both are brand new and test fine. It will pull about 13.5V driving with no electrical load, about 12.9V with a electrical load and like 11.0V at idle with a load. Also like only about 12.2V at idle with no load. I have checked all the wires and fixed one ground which helped it out a little bit. What else could be the culprit?

One of the diodes in the alternator might have gone south.

Alternator remans are notorious for being short lived. Pull the alt, bring it back under warranty, the store will test it to make sure it's bad. Now try again. Repeat until they give you one that lasts more than a year. Might as well have them test the battery while you're there, just in case.

Well maybe if you guys could read the original post. It did test fine. It is a wiring problem i believe. Both your comments were worthless. Read first.

One of the diodes in the alternator is busted. Don't like the truth? Read the FSM and figure it out for yourself.

Next time read what I write and follow instructions.

And did you put a digital meter on the output wire of the alternator when you determined the voltage was low? If you did, and the voltage was what you said in your post.......one of the diodes in the alternator is bad.
