Charging problem
I have a 2nd gen ALT. In my 1gen.
Does the 86/87 ALT. have a built in regulator? If so do I need to jumper something in the stock voltage regulator? I can't seem to hold a charge for more the a few days. The only thing I have hooked to the power side of the battery is, power to the ALT & power to the mircotech.

Yeah, the S4 alt's have built-in regs...
Have you verified it's the alt by pulling the big cable off to see if the batt still drains?
I'm not sure, but I think the guys that were installing the 3rd gen alts on there S4's were having the same troubles- do a quick search...
