Question Center console question

can someone tell me if it's normal for the center console to be hot? i can feel some hot air as i'm driving the car through the center console, where my headrest speaker controls and power mirrors are located.

Yeah myn use to get real hot so i lined the underside with a thin layer of that heat shield stuff and it helped but still gets pretty hot

Your missing some boots that go around the shifter... theres three of them... go get them and you problems will be solved

thanks for your help. where can i get the heat shield liner? also, i will look into the missing boots that go around the shifter.

GO to the Junkyard and get them off some random FC. I got lazy and removed them, and then man you could feel the thermal energy radiating from the center console. SO needless to say they were replaced and problem solved.
