CBV verses BOV
I can't locate my CBV. I know it's on the aluminum tree ont he way to the intercooler but i can't find it...
how do I install a bov and how hard is it?
What is an atmospheric BOV... andr how are they installed and canI make one?

if the link doesn't work, click on it again, put a space before the web addy and hit enter. You can trace the brass check valve back to a metal one, then a hose makes a 90° angle to the metal branch you were talking about

that shows where it connects to the branch better.
An aftermarket BOV shouldn't be hard to install if you get a kit. I've heard that some BOVs will fit the stock hose, but i'm not sure if you wanted it dangling off a hose. If you wanted to do the DIY mod, which alot of people swear against, then you just need a Check Valve like the one in my pic, and a hose to fit it. Then get a threaded nipple to fit the hose and check valve together and you're done. Mine still let a little vacuum leak, so I just tightened the spring a little. good luck

dont forget, to get those pics to work to click on the link, and then when it comes up as an error, to put a space before teh "http..." and then hit enter, and it'll reload the page error free.... yep.
