cat replacement pipe question
Hello, I have an opportunity to buy a cat replacement pipe to a racingbeat presilencer off a s4 n/a.
I want this for a s5 n/a.
Anyone know if it will bolt up the same? I know I will have to plug off the auxiliary feedback tube.
Racing beat lists different numbers but I assume that is due to the tube. If the exhaust manifold and Y pipe are the same then I should be good.

The presilencers are the same except for the pick-up tube, but they're intended to be used with RB's header or NA downpipe. It will not bolt up to the stock precats; it will be 3" too long.
I would just call racing beat. I knew someone who ran the N/A Downpipe and pre-silencer, but not sure if that pre-silencer will be the same presilencer as the one used with the RB header.

That would be most logical, however I was hoping for a quick "been there done that" answer so I could visit the wrecker sunday....
A downpipe and presilencer combo will connect properly to the exhaust manifold and the catback system. It won't matter if it's from an S4 or S5. The only RB presilencers that seem to be different are the ones used with the REV TII and NA road race systems.
