Carpet

Hey guys,

Can any of you recommend any places online to get carpet for an 88 Vert? I've got a leak and its molded underneath and needs to be replaced.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I used the carpet from my 87 coupe, it fit just fine, with just a few cuts, for the extra braces in the vert. So u might wanna try to find a good used one. Might work out cheaper.

I suspect you will not be able to find new replacement carpet for a vert. That fact is a common lament here. The fit problem for the vert is the space behind the seats. A coup carpet can apparently be cut to fit. I recently bought a vert and it has great carpet but years from now I will prolly be in the same boat as you.

Take a look at these sites. Several vendors to choose from.

Whatever you do, don't get the kit from Victoria British. I got it for my coupe and it wasn't even close to fitting right. I don't even know if it could be modified enough to fit a vert even half right.
