Ok I have a 1987 GXL (JM1FC3319H0513654) and I thought I would do a free carfax record check, and so I did. When it came up with the screen it said "1.3L ROTARY TURBO FI" Turbo "I wish" but anyway why would it say turbo when I have a GXL, does everyone’s car do that.

I think all cars show Turbo, unless its a vert. But I'm just pulling that from a vauge memory

 

nah bro it would be specific, i ran my 87 GXl recently..

 

I wasn't gooing to reply to this, because I don't have a carfax account to check out your vin, but: Are you sure you copied the number down correctly from your vehicle? I know sometimes dirty windshields make it hard to read the numbers. Just disregard this if you copied from the chassis stamp or something. Just a thought.

i dont trust carfax at all. my car is a previous total loss..... and when i ran the VIN it came back as having a clean title. i also ran the VIn of a car i was looking at, which was redflagged and needed an inspection... and it also came back as having a clean title.
