carboned apex seals

I just landed a deal for a complete 1986 mazda rx-7. The guy blew the tranny in it, He said the motor ran strong but left it in his backyard for a year and a half.
Afte one night of soaking in MMO the rear rotor is running about 115 PSI, the front rotor on the other hand is running 25 PSI. I am running on day two, or so far one full day of soaking, is there anything else that works better, for decarbonizing? That is anything that won't eat chrome off the rotor housings.
I havent given up yet,... I pulled the exhaust manifold off, to get a look at the rotor tips, the apex seals are bright and shiny, and apparently not broken, just stuck. I was thinking If this doesn't work then maybe trying deisel, as it is an oil. One person even suggested easy off oven cleaner. I think that is a little harsh though!
