Question Carbon Hood Referral

Whats up all, I did some searching couldnt find much so going to throw out a new post. (Apologies in advance if I missed your post, please point me to it!!)

I am currently looking for a carbon fiber hood (fc3s) and I am having trouble finding reputable sites (Espically ones that offer pics of the actual hood for sale). Im finding alot of the cheezy carsites have generic pictures for the hoods in question, and the color / tone of the hood is important for me to see. Ive checked the typical rx7 websites and havnt really found anything. If anybody has personal experience with a good vendor they can share, or even a new link I havnt been able to uncover to some good finds I would be most grateful.

I hope everyones summer is going well and thanks in advance.

I am totally with you on that. I too want a simple, non vented hood in CF. I can't find anything like that either.

Ive found a few, but like I said, it was nothing that jumped out and said "I am the one". Plus I dont trust a site selling rx7 hoods when the hood they show me when I click on my car, is on a kia sophia. I figured that cause of the rice boy culture and fast and furious movies, I could walk into the gas station down the street and find one, unfortunetly its much more of a pain than I first expected.

Its good to know im not alone tee, when I get home from work in the morning ill post in all the ones Ive found so far, if the search goes badly I might end up ordering one of the few I have found.

VIS makes carbon fiber hoods, those can be found on eBay or just by searching.
Speedmachine performance IIRC doesn't make an NA hood.

Vipers (I think is his screen name) has a few links for some nice CF hoods, PM him or wait for him to post.

Speedmachine doesn't make hoods... They distribute Fiber Images hoods, or they did anyways... They no longer carry CF N/A hoods though... If anyone happens to have a CF TII hood I'm looking for one btw (elnene7 no longer has his spare)...

Indeed this was one of the first companies I found, not having the actual na hood pics are very annoying. But worse case ill go with one from them.

yea i think your right.....they used to make them themselves along with a bunch of other cool CF stuff....but after they kinda "sold out" on their original image and way of buisness and became speedmachineperformace as opposed to fc3s.org they did switch to fiber images
now it just seems they are overpriced on things and dont have the same type of commitment to FC owners
