thanks for the positive reply man i really appricieate it. on my tII that i have now im going to be making some cf fenders, front lip, rear diffuser, bumpers(front and rear), side skirts and a replica of my remamemyia wangan(also im currently working on another spoiler that im building out of foam for the mold). and the on my 88se tII conversion im going to be doing the full hard body in cf and then the bumpers and all that are going to be painted. so when i park them together its going to be like looking at the same pic but inverted. its going to be so sweet.

also i haven't ran a bracket to hold the pipe up for years(about 3). with the metal pipe i never had one. so i figured i would try it out with the carbon fiber one. i havn't had any problems yet. the afm and the air filter seem to support everything really well so i really don't have any movement even when racing, autox, or drifting. so i don't see a need to have a mounting bracket.

Umm no.. Boost controller only raises boost over stock wastgate spring. It can't harness and restrain boost from spiking. Only a larger wastegate or a ported one will do that.
Also 20psi usually means your boost gauge is broken or you blew your motor.

The temp of the fabric means nothing without the details of the resin/epoxies temp range.

alright so update i was just searching for 3inch couplers and i think that i might have found some at a reasonable price to connect the TID to the AFM. if i am able to purchase these i will include them. thanks.

As for $65 shipped. I find that hard to believe with the purchasing of proper resin and the shortage of CF.

FC owners are also notorious for saying"I'll buy that if you make it!" then backing out. So don't get your hopes up too much.

im really not having that hard of a time finding the fabric or the resins. ive been researching this for over a year though on where i can get the materials for the best price.

Digi7ech has a point and im not going to argue. all i know that is the resin that i have been using is holding up to the heat of the motor for the intake i know its only been 5 days but i hand laid the part thats on the car right now and i know the infusion wet out isn't as good as vacuum bagging.

i also know that FC guy are cheap and im not trying to get my hopes up. im not only going to be making intakes for FC's though but i would like to produce some aftermarket parts for the FC since i have one that i know will work. that why im testing the parts on my car cause i wouldn't feel right selling someone some that blows up on them and leaves them stranded on the road. i would feel bad and that wouldn't be good for business. lol. i do thank you for your feedback on the issue. My TID seems to be holding up just fine even with the engine bay temps im going to be vacuum bagging my next one and putting that one on my car to test to see which one gives me the better and stronger results.

i figure if honda guys are running intake manifolds out of carbon fiber why can't we run intakes out of carbon fiber. the ic piping is still in the works. im getting all the kinks worked out in that be for i let that one out. thanks.

Keep up the good work!, looks like right about the time you've got a product to sell, I'll have the funds to buy one

I'm very interested to see how smooth these vaccum bagged units will be

oh you and me both im going to try to lay up one tonight. i just gotta go to the store for some mixing cups. less sanding and better strength to weight ratio means less time for turn around for me.

Have u found a supplier for the other misc. things, so we can just buy everything from u at once and only have to worry about 1 shipping cost?
I really want this when i rebuild my motor in a few weeks.
This will be able to be used with stock turbo, right?
More pics is a must, because it looks nice as hell.
Thanks

Hey, Hey!!! something new to look foward to. I would definitley buy the intake and the ic setup if you made. Its something different that isn't made, and alot of people like cf. In essence, you got yourself a business, and by the looks of it, alot of customers. I'm in for the setup.

LOL i really do agree. this motor is a temporary motor. its just a 6 port turbo motor that i threw in there to get me to school and work and things like that. im currently rebuilding my 4 port with a large street port and a TO4B with a 50mm waste gate. im going with a silver and blue theme on it and going to be painting the engine bay black and other misc things.

What are you using for a vacuum pump? You said you were vacuum bagging, are you just using a shop-vac or something else? I'm looking into a new project myself, don't worry, not any kind of composite work, so I'm not tryin to steal your market. Nice product, I might want a TID here soon.

Cool **** dude. Let me know about that though.

as far as i know you can use a shop vac but i think that the motor burns out sooner than later??? i haven had any experience with the shop vac. i bought my pump off of ebay. vacuum bagging isn't all that bad once you get the materials and the research for it in. i like it.

alright so i just ordered some more cf and it should be here in 3 days hopefully. i ordered enough to do just the hotside ic piping on my car so this is going to be for my testing to decied on how many layers and the fabrication method that will work out the best. i also ordered enough to do 7 intakes so that will be good. im just waiting to see if i can win this bid on the couplers. the couplers is going to make it cost a little bit more just cause theyre not cheap lol. i trying to by a lot right now to keep the cost down. thanks

hey everyone. sorry about the long delay on the updates. alot has happend so i had to push everything else to the side for a bit. but i was able to get some new parts done. these are just some parts that im working on and getting all the kinks out of. also i am still making the intakes for who ever wants one just pm me and i will reply. i am getting internet at home soon but for now i just use the internet at school. so it might take a day to reply.

i am in the works of making a front lip for the series 4 bumper

http://a904.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...fb52ffbe97.jpg

that should be the link for the lip. i am also perfecting a single din 3 gauge pod that will fill both din slots though. and also a 3 pod glove box and demister grills and other just random parts like door sills, carbon fiber pedals (based off the sparco ones) and also a cas cover and a cover for the front pulley for the guys with no ps or ac. sorry it took so long to get some up dates on this.
