are you looking for a vented hood or something? The fc3s.org hood is the cheapest and highest quality CF hood that you will find for the FC. Unless you are looking for a hood styled differently there is no reason to get anything other than the fc3s.org CF hood.

 

They are they only ones making one.

It is sold at a couple of other places, but they are all made by them.

 

you can order one from japan for $2000+...

you don't own a honda...

 

Odula makes a CF hood for the FC for like $900 and you could get that through JTimports RE also makes one i believe but its worth more than most of the cars on here lol

 

Why? What's wrong with them? It's the cheapest you'll find since no one else mass produces them and a custom job will be more expensive....

Why do you want one exactly? If it's cuz you think it looks "cool" and dont really care about the weight savings, and the fc3s.org one is too expensive for you just get a big roll of CF tape stuff off ebay for like 20 bucks and wrap your hood in it

Or if you actually do want the weight savings but a CF one is too expensive, get an aluminum hood, if you dont already have one. If you do have one just keep it, its only like 10 lbs heavier than the CF.

Here is a reverse cowl hood. Maybe try contact Carl or someone that makes the hood. I believe it is in the thread.

 

I have a friend who is manufacturing a functional vented hood for the FC that is more in line with what the FC guys want i think. We need to order 10 hoods tho and that's the problem.

hey BigIslandSevens what kind of front bumper is that!!!!!!!!, THat is awesome, i have been looking for a front bumper just like that !

 

If you are reffering to the widebody bumper in the link i provided. I believe that it is the Mazdaspeed GTC FD type Made for the FC widebody. I "Think" That Rotary Extreme made it for a little while. But i believe he doesn't do it anymore.

I wish i could take credit for that car but i believe that it is Carl Byck's car. It is his track monster i think. He has a bunch of threads about it in the race car tech section.( may have to search for it though. It's been a while)

I also think that tri-point makes or made the bumper as well. Not 100% on that one though.
