First off, Yes, i searched, no, i didn't find what i wanted.

I was trying to figure out what all is involved with making something out of carbon fiber? I was hoping to get together some decent information like, where is the best place to buy materials, and what materials to buy, how to make a mold, what to make a mold out of, etc. no need to get too elaborate, i'm just thinking it could be a fun hobby Thanks in advance!

I learned everything I know from the internet, and practice. Go search on google or something for "fiberglass techniques" and "fiberglass how-to's" Fiberglass and carbon fiber are nearly identical in the methods used.

In2Deep - Yeah, but then i'd have to take off my jewel encrusted one...

 

Any decent bookstore will also have a couple of books that will really tell you how to do it. Basically, in the end, you just have to give it a whirl. Start small and have fun.
