ok...first off....the car wont start unless ether is sprayed into the air box.......no clue why.....second problem...1st-4th do nothing...i can do reverse and 5th.....can anyone help me diagnose some of these problems?

 

No fuel is being injected and a bad tranny.

Pretty cut and dry.

Did you actually drive this car, or is this someone else's project that you picked up?

I would guess that the shifter is not properly installed (I once had a tranny not go into 1st or 2nd do to the shifter being very badly alligned.)

The lack of fuel could be due to a fuel cut switch that the car's previous owner installed to help with flooding.
