Car won't start, No spark???

Hey, I just finished putting together the last few things on my engine swap and now the car won't start. I removed the spark plugs and they have gas on them so gas must be getting to them. The engine's spinning, the starter motor is working, everything seems fine. It just seems like the engine's not getting any spark. What could be the reasons for this?

Not sure if this is related or not, but I checked the fuse box inside the car and noticed 3 missing fuses. I'm guessing there's supposed to be something there... but I can't find any diagrams of what fuses are required and what they actually do.

James

check to see if the engine fuse is one of them that is missing or is blown. are you also not getting fuel?

I'm pretty sure I'm getting fuel. The spark plugs are wet and smell like fuel. The fuse that's missing is apparently the hazard fuse. I'm not really sure what else the problem could be.... unless I wired something incorrectly.

The hazard and soft top are missing.. it's not a convertible anyway lol. Otherwise all of the fuses look good. Don't think it's flooded... doesn't seem to be getting any spark at all. The car does give that annoying buzzer sound once in a while when I try to start it, not every time however. The battery is brand new, and we tried jumping it too so I don't think that's the problem.

It sounds like you flooded it, okay you must get all new fuses. make sure the main black middle one is there. now replace the fuses as shown above then from there i would get new plugs, then take out the egi fuse crank it over 3-4 times for about 3-4 seconds then put the fuse back in and crank it over, if that doesn't unflood it then you have to do the fun way. take out the egi fuse and take out the lower spark plugs, then crank it over put a rag in the holes gas will probably come out so to stop a fire after it starts keep a rag trust me i learned from experience, then put some ATF or 20w-50 motor oil i hear people say to use oil but atf works for me everytime the first time. put atf in the lower spark plug holes then put new plugs back in then put the egi fuse back in then crank it over and you may have to give it gas to start it so crank it over and if nothing crank it over and floor it.

Hmm... I'll try the unflooding procedure. One other question I have, that may be related, is it normal for all of the warning lights to be on? I mean every single one? Usually aren't only the check engine, brake, etc on before the car actually starts?

Unflooding it didn't work. In fact, no fuel came out... makes me think I'm not actually getting fuel to the engine. There is definitely oil on the spark plugs however. Any ideas? I'll double check all the fuel lines. The car has been in storage for almost 9 years. Could the fuel pump or other stuff be bad, or go bad from sitting so long? The car has 80k miles so most of the stuff should be ok unless age is a major factor on the fuel components...
