Car wont start, machanics fault?

ok so i recently made a thread on my back rotor not working, some said it was my rear primary fuel injector. So i took my car to a local machanic guy that has never worked on a rotary car before, but he said he would look at it. He cleaned my fuel injectors and "said" they were fine, he also tested my fuel pump pressure and he said it was all fine. So we go up there to get it and it wont start....i think we might have flooded it due to a little gas smell. after a couple of days we costed it down and parked it in my drive way and i let it sit for a couple days, then tryed crankin it up and it would start for about 2 seconds and stop. i never pumped the gas and when i held down the gas pedal thats the only time it would start for 2 seconds then die. Idk if the machanic did something wrong and messed something up or if he knew what he was doing. i want to buy new fuel injectors but i wanted to know if theres something im doing wrong before i buy them, i tested the fuel injector wires or harness whatever theyre called and it reads 12v, i searched on that and found that 12v is the right reading for the injector wires? ive tested my main fuel line and its shooting out like a hose so i know theres plenty of fuel.

Any ideas? im stumped

My car is 86 rx7 N/A

possibly flooded and or there is a vacuum leak/air hose leak after mass air flow sensor. if it startes consistanly buy dies after it starts and was running like normal for the brief few seconds it ran then it is not flooded but does have a large air leak after the mass air flow sensor (maf or mas). check to make sure the the intake tube is connected securely between the maf and the throttle plate, check over the intake manifold real well to see if there are any hoses that may have been forgotten after "cleaning" your injectors. also check the dumb but sometimes overlooked unplugged sensor. do a search here on the forum for topics like injector cleaning and deflooding procedures.

Check to make your AFM (not MAF... we don't have one) is plugged in. The car doesn't use it while starting up, but when the car is started the AFM basically tells the car how much fuel to inject. No AFM... no fuel.

no, i'm asking if he took the sparkplug wires off coz he might've put them on backwards, like putting the leading wires to the trailing plugs. simple mistakes like that will make your car NOT start.
