car wont start

after my car overheated i let it sit for a bit, then i started it added colant and turned it off, when i tryed to start it again 2 min later it wouldnt start i would just hear clicking, now i hear nothing, when turn the key the lights just go on. ive already tried to jump start it.

Unfortunately this is not enough information to make an intelligent stab at diagnosis...however, if that is the starter clicking it sounds like the battery is really low or the cables/clamps are not connecting good...or the starter went pooooey....bad ground.....if it overheated too much cudda went poooooey....??????poooooey

k now when i try to turn it on, nothing happens no clicking. even when i tried jump starting it.

k well i took it into my mechanic, he got it start but hasnt told me the details yet, he just told me that it was pretty messed and that it was hard for him to get it going.

From personal experience, your average mechanic will know dick about rotaries. Sounds like you had a dead battery and it was flooded. You have to actively un-flood a rotary engine.

Or you blew a coolant seal and flooded it..... with antifreeze.
