car won't start?

Hey everyone.

I try to start it and it just cranks. The spedometer vibrates from 0rpm up about 2-3 millemeters and back, over and over. Makes me think it's not receiving fuel.
My car was fine when I parked it about 3 days ago. It's been pretty cold here 25-35 degrees. We got about 1/2' of freezing rain/ice last night. Question is... could the lines be frozen or could something possibly be wet???

I put on a drift style hood about 6 weeks ago with the 3 vertical vents in the center. Its rained plenty since then, but hasnt been a problem.

Any info/ideas appreciated.
Headed off to class in my company vehicle

Rob

well fuel freezes waaaaaaaaaaaay below zero, so to answer the question, no, your fuel lines are not frozen. If it's turning over then wetness isn't an issue either. It may be flooded? Search on here for de-flooding procedures and go to town.

Oh yea, and don't bump in the tech section, it pisses people off.

try removing the egi relay. push the gas pedal to the floor while cranking the engine three times for about five seconds. reinstall the relay. then try starting the car regularly. if the engine is flooded this should help remove the excess gas.

Does the tach move too? If not, check the trailing coils.
