Car won't start.
Here's the problem. Yesterday, it was working well. Today when I got in the car and tried starting it, I got no crank, nothing. On top of that, my idiot lights and radio doesn't work as well. My head lights work, the Illum on the tach work, followed by the door lights and overhead lights. When I turn the key, usually the door lights would dim, but they don't. To make matters worse, I just missed the 1st day of class. Can someone help me on this?

can you boost it?..check the main fuse, check battery connections, cables ..check fuses on inside of the car too..starter connection..could be corroded..if you have a meter check the battery voltage (one cable off) then test with cable on(for battery drain) some stuff for ya

had a car..seized alternator..started with good battery..if you find your battery is good ..a way to test for a bad positive lead is to connect a booster cable to the positive and directly to the starter..but right now ..just go over the stuff I said before..your battery could be fully juiced up,but if you have a bad connection,(and since the starter draws a lot of juice).it may allow you to get lights and radio and all the stuff that doesn't require high amperage, but as soon as you try to draw major amperage it won't because of corrosion..(that help any?)

Update, the starter connection you mentioned, I think that's the problem. I did a little bit more research and went out and took out the screw that held the starter connection in the back of the cylinder out. That beige lookiing thing. Anyway, while my car was beeping, I noticed that it stopped beeping then back to beeping to finally, permanently stop beeping. So now I get no beeping at all. Before I destroy this even more, since I just accidently broke off the clamp that held the cover together, what else do I do? Take it out and clean it? If it doesn't work, then I have no choice but to call it quits and either let a shop take care of it, or sell it. I mean, I really do love this car, so if I have to sell it, I'll sell it, then just get another one.
