Car wont start
Sunday Night
I took the car around all day, sufficiently warm, running for a while,
took it home
parked it
plugged it in.
The car was plugged in over night, and in the morning my g/f went to start it
it ran long enough for her to get out of the car, and then it stalled.
she proceeded to jump into the car and try to start it again
(no gas pedal)
she then proceeded to use the gas pedal
then she came in and told me
i went out to start the car,
no pedal,
then pedal
it seemed as if it was about to start
but it just didnt quite.
so i got some booster cables (so i had sufficent power)
I then pulled the EGI Fuse,
turned over for 15 - 17 seconds
i popped the fuse back in
and turned over
same thing, not quite enough umpfffhhh
The upper casing for the main fuse block is missing, but i pulled the innermost fuse, that i will assume is the EGI fuse, (30AMP) pink.
yesterday got down to -30 degrees celcius, (-22 degrees feriheight)
but the car was plugged in
boosted
and deflooded properly.
can anyone help me figure this out?

so, did you ever fix this problem? i am having the same problem with my seven. it got down to 12 fahrenheit last night and it was starting fine the whole day (20+ degrees fahrenheit) but after letting it sit for about 5 hours in the cold, it didnt and continues to not want to start. i KNOW im getting fuel, air, and spark. my engine floods some, and it seems like its ABOUT to start a couple times, but just sputters out and keeps turning over. tried to push start it with another car to no avail as well. this leaves me to question...
what, is....the deal?!
Ry.
