Car Won't Start
Car Won't Start
I know the battery is dead, but it has had any problems before I installed my electric fan. It's a perma cool with the adjustable thermistat switch. Why would that kill my battery, the fan doesn't stay on for more than about two minutes after shut down. I started the car several times last night to leak check the turbo lines, I was trying to remove the turbo and ran out of time. It acted like a dead battery once, then cracked up perfectly several times, also when I came home yesterday, all accesories died and the car idled at about 500-600 rpms, when reving it up, they came back on. Please help.
The battery isn't really in use while the car is running - it's being charged. Therefore, it is most likely your alternator (or connections to it) that's causing problems. Or, you're drawing more current from the alternator/battery than the car can keep up with - could be your fan connection???
