Thumbs down Car won't run!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok I pulled off the TB to see if it needed to be cleaned and I thought about doing the TB mod but decided not to. So I put the car back together and attempted to start it up. It ran for about a min then stalled. I started it back up and it stalled again like 10 sec. later. What is going on. I'm pretty sure that I reinstalled everything right and the only thing I not to sure about is the throttle cable. I think I installed it back on the right way but not sure. I've heard that some people have had a problem with flooding after reinstalling the TB. Could this be my problem? Shouldn't I be able to just pull the EGI fuse to deflood it, I tried it and it stilled did the same thing. There is slack in the throttle cable when there is no pressure applied on the gas. but as soon as I press the gas pedal it stalls.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hum, did you disconnect any fuel lines?
Your engine needs three things to run. Air, spark, and fuel. You need to check each one. Crank it a little bit and pull a spark plug. Is it wet with fuel? Yes? You have fuel. No, you have a problem. Pull a spark plug wire off the coil and crank it. Is there a spark arcing? Yes, not your problem. No, you have a problem.

Air? Is it sucking it in from somewhere?

I have a very similar problem. The engine was rebuilt and had a Racing Beat Header and straight pipe on it. I replaced the o-rings on the primary injectors because it was leaking fuel like a beast. I then swapped headers and stock exaust to try and get it legal. It was running fine but when I swapped mufflers it did something very weird. It would start for about 45 seconds then die. Then start for 20 seconds and die and then 10 sec and die, 5 sec and die, and then just fire and die and fire and die. Only thing I touched was the headers, muffler and actuaters to get the header off.

Changed fuel filter, added injector cleaner, checked plugs and they are new but are dark at the ends. Disconnected the muffler so its not a clogged muffler. Could it be a sensor, injector, or vacumm line. It runs great but does the same sequence of starts and dies for the last few weekends. Don't know where to start.

Let me know if you get yours started.

OK, i had a HORRIBLE idle problem after porting my intake manifolds. Turns out, that i *somehow* tampered with the cold start screwS (there are TWO) and it screwed up idle both cold and warm. Also, be SURE there are no hoses/tubes/wires disconnected. The black tube on the drivers side that goes from the thing that says "13B injection" to the manifold below it causes it to start then stop. ALSO check the 2 hoses comming off of the HUGE rubber air intake hose. OH YEAH, on the back of the TB there is a green fishing bobber looking thing, make sure that that tube us plugged in too.

once again check all the screws/springs/plates so that they are in spec with a HAYNES or FSM. It worked for me

Put your ear close to the TB. If you can hear a AIR SUCKING noise, you got a leak .

Hope this helps.

Is your airflow meter plug connected?
