Car will crank...car won't start. Help!

Ok, I just finished putting my T2 back together. It has been MONTHS!

So uh..I tried turning it over, the starter cranks, but the engine won't catch. What should I look for..?

All my fuses are good, both in the engine bay, and the interior. All my ground and power wires are run correctly, all my vacuum hoses are run correctly, etc.

Edit: HAS compression. Already checked.

So uh...?

Ok. I have spark, no vacuum leaks that I can tell, and fuel. I know I have fuel, because there is a 3' puddle under my car of the stuff. Happy day...? No..

If you have spark & fuel, might just need to re-establish the oil film inside the engine to prevent compression blow-by. Drop 1-2 capfuls of ATF in each leading sparkplug hole. Also assuming you put all the grounds back on.

She's just flooded. Go through the unflooding procedure and it should fire right up.
