man, this car keeps giving me all these problems. so a while back i fould the spark plugs by adding a bit too much premix. so recently i change out the spark plugs with some fresh NGKs. I try to start it but it just kept cranking and cranking. I did the unflooding trick by pulling the fuse and then try it again. it almost starts but the battery gave up on me. so today i grab a new one and now i hear this faint grind noise.

Could this be my starter or something? please someone help me!

 

i had the same problem today when i was at autocross i just got there and my car was running hot and i shut it off to go to the drivers meeting and then when it was time for evryone to go to their cars i got in mine and turned the key. the engine was turning over but nothing was happening and then i heard a grinding sound so i stopped and realized it was my starter . then i did it again but this time i put the pedal to the floor and started pumping it. the the engine gurgled and then it started up so i reved it a 6k for about 10 sec. and then she ran fine for the rest of the day. try putting it to the floor and as your engine is turning pump the gas 3/4 throttle to the floor for about 10-15 sec. if that doesnt work then wait a while or look into a new fuel pump.

 

no my car doesnt even turn over now. like i would turn the key and hear a little faint click noise then when i turn the key again nothing would happen.

could just be really flooded. my car wouldn't start one time and pulling the egi fuse didn't work so i had to push start it.
