car start problems
ok so i pulled all the soleniods off and emissions stuff, changed my clutch, put the car back together and now the car starts kidna if i have the intercooler off and the afm unplugged it starts. idle bounces around from 2500-4000 then cuts out after like 30-45 secs. if i put the intercooler on and have the afm disconnected it fires over twice then dies. does the same thing with the afm conncected with the intercooler off, and with it plugged in and the intercooler on. im going to switch afms right now, then im going to put another ecu in. if anyones got some suggestions. please help.

Have you tried setting the TPS? Also, does it help when you hold the accelerator down a little bit to give it more air?
After I had taken off the emissions (EGR, ACV, BAC), I had to adjust the throttle stop screw to give it more air to stay running. Otherwise, the fuel pump gives too much fuel and it dies.

Also, when you have the AFM disconnected, the fuel pump won't be getting a good signal from the ECU. If you have problems with the AFM when connected, check for vacuum leaks b/c the AFM needs a good vacuum to work properly.
